Description
For this malt, we first softly roast malt to a light crystal specification. We allow this to cool before applying a second more intense roasting process at higher temperatures. This method adds a layer of complexity to the product in terms of flavour and colour development.
Midnight Stars Double Roasted Crystal Malt gives a deep ruby brown colour to your beer. Rich in reducing sugars, it provides an intense caramel taste, additional body and flavour stability. Subtle notes of burnt sugar and raisin can be detected. It has no enzymatic potential.
